"Why animals eat other animals"
Everyday animals interact with each other in complex ways. The picture on the right gives a great example of how they interact with each other. The frog eats bugs, the snake eats frogs, the hawks east snakes. All of this is done for one reason ... ENERGY. All animals get energy from eating. How this energy is transferred and divided is explained by Energy Pyramids and Food Chains. The picture on the left is a food chain.
You are going to explore these interactions of animals and the differences between Energy Pyramids and Food Chains over the next few days. Listed below are links that you will use to explore. Each link has information to read and answers to be found and written on the worksheet I have given you. Go through the links IN ORDER doing them out of order will just make your job harder.
